Helping Defiant Children Succeed
Presented by Dr. Amy Vigliotti | June 11 , 2025 7PM EST
1.5 HOURS | LIVE ONLINE via ZOOM | INTERACTIVE SMALL GROUP WORKSHOP
Discover how anxiety and environmental stressors often drive defiant behavior in young children—and how you can respond with greater insight and effectiveness. In this interactive small-group workshop, psychologist Dr. Amy Vigliotti draws on years of clinical experience with children ages 3–8 to uncover the “why” behind the behavior and guide participants through practical, compassionate responses.
Through case discussions, role-play, and reflection, participants will explore clinically-informed, developmentally appropriate strategies that de-escalate conflict and build connection. Participants are encouraged to bring real-life scenarios to the group for tailored discussion and feedback.
