Speaker's Biography

Jennifer Samboy, LMSW, has been working in the Early Intervention Program, which serves infants and toddler with autism or special needs, for over 10 years. She is now the Supervisor of the Service Coordination Department at Los Niños Services and oversees 20 Service Coordinators who serve 800 families. Jennifer’s approach has helped her department earn a reputation for excellence. She is bilingual Spanish, is from New York City, and is an expert at special needs programs and resources for families. Jennifer takes pride in sheparding families through the challenging process of accepting that their child has special needs, then through the evaluation process, and through the process of receiving services. Jennifers background includes working with young parents, with immigrants, as well as women who have been victims of domestic violence.Jennifer’s leadership has contributed to Los Niños earning a number of Best Place to Work awards. 
 

Host's Biography

Dr. Scott Mesh is the Director of Young Child Learning and the CEO and Co-Founder of Los Niños Services which serves 2,000 young children with special needs each year through homecare and center services. He is a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with young children and their families and is an expert on assessing young children for developmental disabilities and autism.
