Discuss and analyze case studies and examples of situations dealing with the crossroads of early learning among children and the immigration process. We will explore recent events that have affected the youth development and early child development community stemming from US Immigration Policies in a fast paced and ever changing environment. As the position of the Administration evolves and changes, we must be ready to pivot and understand how to handle situations and come to terms with the reality of things on the ground and the limits of federal involvement. We will take question and give answers, and provide participants with real world practical advice and resources to consider when dealing with immigrant communities and immigrant children dealing with US immigration dilemmas.
Teachers, therapists, social workers, and other early childhood professionals working with young children will benefit from this webinar.
