U.S. Immigration Challenges Impact on Early Childhood Families
Presented by Dev Viswanath | November 20, 2025 7PM EST
1 HOURÂ | LIVE ONLINE via ZOOM | INTERACTIVE
For professionals in early childhood education and family services, immigration challenges are more than legal questions—they deeply impact the children and families you serve in early childhood settings. Young children may experience stress, disruption, or uncertainty when their families face immigration-related issues, and educators often see the effects in the classroom.
This webinar will provide important insights on Temporary Family Based, Employment Based, Asylum Law, and Removal/Deportation Proceedings. Participants will also learn how the government is increasingly relying on artificial intelligence (AI) in document review and cross-checking prior applications, and what that means for families seeking to maintain their legal status. In addition, the session will highlight the ways families can prepare for and respond to ICE raids, with practical resources and information that professionals can share to help protect and inform the families they serve.
Â
Lastly, we will explore practical strategies early childhood professionals can use to support children and families impacted by immigration policies, both now and in the years ahead.
Â
Teachers, therapists, social workers, and other early childhood professionals working with young children will benefit from this webinar.Â
