Promoting Positive Bedtime & Healthy Sleep in Preschool & Elementary School Aged Children

Presented by Maya Wolf, OTD, MBA, OTR/L | March 24, 2026 7PM EST

1 HOUR | LIVE ONLINE via ZOOM | INTERACTIVE

1 in 5 young children in the general population display symptoms of insomnia. The prevalence of sleep difficulties in children with neurodevelopmental disorders and/or sensory processing differences is even greater. Sleep issues in children can significantly impact health, learning, executive functioning skills and behaviors as well as the entire family’s well being.

This webinar will focus on behavioral sleep problems, including bedtime resistance, difficulty falling asleep and nighttime waking —rather than medical sleep disorders. An overview of typical sleep expectations for young children, how behavioral sleep difficulties can present and manifest, and evidence-based strategies that can be shared with families will be covered.
Teachers, therapists, social workers, and other early childhood professionals working with preschool and elementary aged children will benefit from this webinar.
