In this workshop we'll share three “C’s” of co-regulation: Connection, Calming, and Compassion. Children need these supports from us when they are acting out. Together we’ll explore several strategies for each of these three C’s, discussing how they are supported by the latest brain research, advice from experts, and best practices in early childhood education and care. You will come away with many simple support strategies that work - and a new way of understanding challenging behavior. With these tools you’ll feel more confident than ever handling your next behavioral challenges!

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within 30 days before the event, the registration fee is not refundable. However, you will receive a credit for the registration fee which can be applied to another Young Child Learning event within the following 12 months. The processing fee is non-refundable.
Speaker's Biography
Diane Goyette is a Child Development Specialist, Trainer, Consultant, and Speaker with over 35 years of experience teaching both young children and adults. As owner of Early Childhood Specialties, she is on a mission to support the adults who care for and teach young children. She is passionate about building adults’ emotional intelligence and supporting children's social-emotional development, especially for those who exhibit challenging behaviors.
Host's Biography
Dr. Scott Mesh is the Director of Young Child Learning and the CEO and Co-Founder of Los Niños Services which serves 2,000 young children with special needs each year through homecare and center services. He is a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with young children and their families and is an expert on assessing young children for developmental disabilities and autism. He has helped thousands of parents over the years make the transition to gaining help for their children through early childhood special education services. He is a leader in early childhood development and working effectively with parents.
